Mom's Stuff
A uniquely formulated salve for man and beast, and beastly men! Ha. Seriously, our dear friend Lee Udall Bennion has spent years perfecting her own recipe for a soothing mixture that has brought great relief to the afflicted feet of river rafters; the dishpan hands of those on KP; the chapped cheeks of toddlers; the cracked, pigskin elbows of porch-potato dogs and the fly-bitten ears of horses. Lee has a growing roster of satisfied customers all over the world. You can order Mom's Stuff online or by mail; instructions are on the website.
Heart 2 Heart Horsemanship
Shauna Brantley is a horsewoman, trainer and educator of great skill and uncanny intuition. She grew up on horses, did a thorough apprenticeship, and has been running her own operation for some years; yet she continues to trade ideas with other trainers and to learn from the horses themselves. Shauna is based near Lodi, California, and people ship their horses there because she is a trainer they can trust to do whatever is best for their horses. She and Solar Flare, her favorite trail mount, were finalists on TV's "America's Favorite Trail Horse" during the summer of 2011. Shauna keeps it fun for the horse as well as the rider.
Exum Wordsmiths
...are a mother-and-son team of proofreaders, both born hard-wired to spot mistakes in written language. They specialize in business and organizational communications, but will train their gimlet eyes on almost anything but student projects. Brilliant people make bold business moves, but often need a nitpicker to say, "you missed a spot." Their knowledge and methods are old-school but efficient, and perfection is guaranteed.
