A Day in the Life--feeding time, twice a day!
Soak the beet pulp for the seniors. Put senior feed on beet pulp. Rinse out the buckets.
Sarah Beth starts on her hay. Up the hill with everyone else's hay. Zoe & Zinah tuck in.
Most horses are very picky about who they will share food with. Lena & Joe head downhill to
Juno & Rita will never share, but Thomas & Paul sometimes do. get their senior food.

Joe second. Don't try to go Once everyone's eating happily, if it's fly season, put a flymask
against the pecking order! on everyone during breakfast.
Dump out yesterday's water. Scrub out the tank.
Refill. Only four more to go!
Now the fun begins! We spend about 45 minutes after the dinner feeding, each with a wheel- barrow, picking up manure and carting it to a dump pile. Can you guess what we want from Santa? An electric cart!
Any leftover time is spent currying and giving ear rubs to those who enjoy it.
